HOW
BOYS' ENTRANCE BECAME BOWIE'S ENTRANCE

Boys' Entrance- award winning singer/songwriter, Tim Cain's unique 21st Century Glam Rock band began in Chicago in 1991. The band has an international reputation for political and artistic confrontation. Two "Rock Single of the Week" reviews in BILLBOARD MAGAZINE; reviews in the Village Voice; The Chicago Tribune; and more have responded with critical praise. The band has produced 5 albums under the name Boys' Entrance- including the 2016 release of their Glam Rock Opera, "TUNNELVISION". The musical, TUNNELVISION debuted at the Studio@620, directed by renowned director, Bob Devin Jones, June, 2017 in St. Petersburg, FL.

Creative Loafing's 2017 Best of the Bay poll saw Boys' Entrance nominated as Best Local Band.

By 2019, the band had added numerous covers by Bowie and acts he influenced. On 9/1/19, the band recorded 12 songs live in Blacktoe Studios in Seminole, FL- in 5 hours.  There were no overdubs. The result is a document of the band.

"boys' entrance presents BOWIE'S ENTRANCE Vol. 1 & 2" was released on Valentines Day, 2020.  Then the pandemic hit. Like everyone else, the band went into hibernation.  "Vol. 3" was recorded in the Spring and Summer of 2022.

Carlos Alomar, Bowie's fabled guitarist, and Morgan Fisher of Mott the Hoople both raved about Vol. 3.

The band is known for their theatrical and visceral shows, and demand is building. Book them now, while you can.
